Nokia 8 preview Nokia 8 leak shows off new Zeiss dual-cameras and final design

The Nokia 8 is now far less of a mystery, as its purported final design has been leaked in full.
As seen on VentureBeat, Nokia’s 5.3-inch Android Nougat flagship bares all, including its 2.5D curved glass front, the nearly bezel-free display and (surprise!) its Zeiss-powered dual-lens camera system, reportedly featuring two 13MP sensors.
a power play to put its foray into dual-lens camera tech a cut above the others. Pekka Rantala, CMO of HMD told us that it aims to “provide a better imaging experience”, though we’ll have to try the Nokia 8 ourselves to see if it’s able to do just that.

Given the cushion of time between the launch of the Nokia 8 and the others in Nokia’s 2017 collection, like the Nokia 3Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, it’s surprising that so little has been done to differentiate the 8 from a design perspective. Of course, this is considering that what we see above is, in fact, the final design.

Nokia 8 rumored specs and launch date

Looks aside, the rumored specs easily place it in the highest caliber of Android smartphones. 2K resolution, Snapdragon 835 and 4/6GB RAM configurations check all the boxes, regardless of whether you’re a casual or hardcore user.
VentureBeat states that Nokia may be gearing up for a July 31 announcement for the Nokia 8 and that it could debut for as much as $675 (roughly £516, AU$864). This is obviously far more expensive than a recent leak suggested, though we won’t have long to wait until we know for certain.
