Apple topped Shawmy

China's smart phone maker Shawumi is now topping the wearables or wearable technology. Fitbit and Apple topped the world for the first time as the world's largest wearable technology maker. According to market research firm Strategy Analytics, Shawmi currently occupies 17 percent of the market. In the second quarter of this year, from April to June, 37 lakh units were released in the market for the wearable goods, which was 23 percent more than the second quarter of 2016.

Strategy Analytics reports that Shawmy's MI brand's fitness tracker has become popular due to improved features and competitive prices.
